  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. BSN or experience preferred.

Experience: 3 years’ clinical experience is required. Previous experience as a lead or charge nurse preferred. Ability to perform basic nursing duties in ED, OB, and Med/surg preferred

  • Licenses/Certification: Current Colorado Registered Nurse License (or compact state RN license). ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NRP, PALS, S.T.A.B.L.E. Responsibilities: We are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional care and services. As part of the clinical team you will: Supervise nursing staff as they complete their daily responsibilities Work with department managers and Director of patient care services to ensure proper staffing in each department
  • Resolve incidents that take place during the shift and communicate them to senior administrators as needed
  • Work with patients, family members, and other medical professionals to provide patients with high-quality care Work one bedside shift per pay period Oversee completion of unit specific administrative tasks (e.g. quality controls completed, Pyxis discrepancies resolved, crash cart checks, temp logs updated, etc.).
  • Make bed assignments in coordination with front line staff, adjusts staffing to meet requirements of the nurse managers based on acuity.
  • Comply with safety practices that protect patients and healthcare providers. This includes procedures to reduce the spread of infection, maintain crowd control, and prevent violence in the care setting. Keep department Directors apprised of any significant events.
  • Serve as resource to hospital staff and may provide training and orientation to new staff.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills as evidenced by team management, effective communication and delegation.
  • Investigate customer complaints and takes appropriate action and provides detailed documentation. Utilizes decision-making skills in identifying potential problems and seeks assistance from nurse managers or Director when appropriate Work

Compensation: $39.50 - $61.23/hr, depending on experience. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
