About This Role
This 13-week contract position places you on a medical-surgical unit in Monterey caring for both adult and pediatric patients. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week, earning between $1,938 and $2,335 weekly. Your days involve hands-on patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and responding to patient needs throughout your shift. This role suits registered nurses who work well in fast-paced hospital settings and genuinely connect with patients during their recovery. You should be comfortable managing multiple patients simultaneously, staying organized during night shifts, and adapting to the rhythms of a busy med-surg floor. Travel nursing experience is a plus, though strong clinical fundamentals and a collaborative attitude matter most.
