Nursing Jobs in Winfield, IL

Winfield is a working healthcare town: Northwestern Medicine, Rush, Advocate Health, and University of Chicago drive consistent demand year-round. Most nursing openings around Winfield, Illinois fall into three buckets — staff hospital roles, per diem and PRN shifts, and travel/agency assignments tied to ER, ICU, oncology, and travel nurse roles.

If you live in or near Winfield, you can usually choose between a staff hospital position close to home or a travel/agency contract paying premium rates. Compensation in Illinois reflects Chicago-area academic medical centers; IL is not part of the NLC compact, and experienced RNs — especially with ICU, ER, or labor & delivery experience — see noticeably stronger offers from Winfield-area employers.
