Job Description

Join Our Team as an RN - IMCU! Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 Your pay will reflect your expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: RN - IMCU Location: Chicago, IL

Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours/week Hours: 7am-7:30pm, every other weekend and rotating holidays required Travel: None required Your Role: As an RN in our IMCU, you will: Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients and their families. Maintain competency reflective of current standards of practice. Engage with peers and contribute to their professional development. Integrate ethical provisions into all areas of nursing practice. Incorporate evidence-based practices and research findings into your nursing care. Adapt to situations that vary from the norm with confidence. Promote safety measures to prevent injuries for both patients and staff. Guide and supervise staff in delivering exceptional patient care. Enhance your own professional growth and development. Maintain a safe therapeutic environment and respond effectively in emergencies. Complete documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. What You’ll Need: At least one year of experience as a staff nurse is preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Demonstrated mastery of nursing skills. Effective communication skills to guide and supervise nursing personnel. Current Illinois Nursing licensure. American Heart Association CPR Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification and NIHSS within 3 months of hire. PALS and NRP may be required within six months, depending on unit requirements. Why Join Us?
