Job Description

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: RN - Cardiac Neuro ICU Transition Program Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL Full Time: 36 hour work week Hours: 7:00pm-7:30am (Nights) Transition program classroom hours are day shift Precepted shifts may be days or nights What you will do: Edward Hospital is delighted to offer a new Critical Care Nurse Transition Program. This program is for experienced acute care nurses who have a desire to transition into Critical Care Nursing. During this program, candidates will train with a critical care nurse preceptor for 8-12 weeks and have 8 weeks dedicated education time. Job Summary: Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Experience: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date. Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross Minimum 1 year of inpatient RN experience ?
