Job Description
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, supporting clients of Premier Health & Safety. In this critical care role, you will provide high-acuity nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring the highest standards of safety, clinical excellence, and patient advocacy. Working alongside physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members, you will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, titrate critical drips, manage ventilators and invasive lines, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition. You will interpret complex diagnostic data, follow evidence-based protocols, administer medications with meticulous accuracy, and document all care in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practices. Aligned with Premier Health & Safety’s culture of learning, compliance, and community service, this position emphasizes continuous professional development, safety-focused practice, and strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards. You will participate in code and rapid response teams, support safe patient handling, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and ICU workflows. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, offering diverse clinical experiences and exposure to a wide range of critical conditions, including sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac instability, post-operative recovery, and multi-system organ dysfunction. As an ICU Registered Nurse with Premiere Healthcare Staffing, you can expect a collaborative, education-oriented setting with access to ongoing skills training, simulations, and certification support. You will precept and mentor less experienced nurses when appropriate, communicate clearly with patients and families about complex conditions and treatment plans, and help foster a culture of trust, empathy, and safety at the bedside. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented critical care nurse who thrives in high-stakes situations, values teamwork and evidence-based practice, and seeks opportunities for career growth within a respected healthcare and safety-focused organization.
