Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (4:00 pm–4:30 am) Start date: 06/15/2026 Setting: Critical Access Hospital (ER) Responsibilities Report to the on-duty Nursing Supervisor; collaborate with the ER team to deliver high-quality patient care. Conduct individualized patient assessments and prioritize data collection; promptly notify the on-call physician and charge nurse of abnormal findings. Develop and implement an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team; perform treatments as ordered and monitor patient responses. Perform evidence-based procedures and tasks (e.g., EKGs, blood draws, IV starts) while keeping the work area clean, stocked, and organized. Provide patient and family education tailored to clinical status; document assessment findings, interventions, and progress toward problem resolution. Initiate emergency resuscitation measures as needed; maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety and infection control standards. Requirements Current California RN license in good standing. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ACLS, PALS, and CPR certification; NRP and TNCC required within one year of hire date. 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced ER and multi-task effectively in a rural critical access hospital setting.
