Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams, maintain a sterile field, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Monitor patient status (vital signs, anesthesia response, and hemodynamics) and manage equipment and instrumentation required for procedures. Administer medications as ordered, document accurately in the medical record, and follow hospital policies for medication administration. Support efficient case flow through room turnover, equipment management, and supply readiness; participate in post-case debriefs and charting as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care, adhere to regulatory standards, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
