Job Description
Highlands-Cashiers Hospital, part of Mission Health and located on the scenic Highlands-Cashiers Plateau, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join its Healthcare & Medical Services team.
In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to individuals across the continuum of services, including emergency care, diagnostics, medical-surgical, and rehabilitative therapies.
Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition using sound clinical judgment.
You will educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions, promoting understanding, safety, and long-term wellness.
As a key member of a close-knit community hospital, you will demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and accountability while maintaining accurate documentation, following evidence-based protocols, and adhering to all regulatory and infection prevention standards.
You will coordinate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure seamless transitions of care and an excellent patient experience.

Requirements
Active RN license required.
1+ year of ER or acute-care experience.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. TNCC preferred.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.
