Job Description
Frisbie Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse – Emergency Services to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in the emergency department.
As a key member of our ER care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to individuals of all ages presenting with urgent and emergent conditions.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will perform comprehensive triage, conduct focused assessments, administer medications and treatments, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions in collaboration with emergency physicians and other multidisciplinary team members.
You will be responsible for continuously monitoring patients for changes in condition, responding quickly to critical situations, initiating life-saving measures according to established protocols, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
This role includes coordinating care with ancillary departments, communicating clearly with patients and families about plans of care, and providing education and emotional support during highly stressful situations.

Requirements
Active RN license required.
1+ year of ER or acute-care experience.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. TNCC preferred.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.
