Clinical Nurse Coordinator Emergency Department

Frisbie Memorial Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Emergency Department, a dynamic leadership and bedside role within our Healthcare & Medical Services team.

As a key member of our ER nursing staff, you will coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate care for patients requiring urgent and emergent treatment.

Working in a fast-paced clinical environment, you will oversee patient flow, support triage and prioritization of care, and ensure that evidence-based nursing practices are consistently applied.

You will serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff nurses, collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

In this role, you will participate in staffing coordination, delegation of assignments, and real-time problem solving to address changes in patient acuity and volume.

You will assist with orientation, mentoring, and ongoing development of ER nursing staff, reinforcing hospital policies, clinical protocols, and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will also include accurate documentation, medication administration, patient and family education, and active participation in performance improvement, patient safety initiatives, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
