Job Description

Overview Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of Texas, is looking for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join Nurture Women's Health in Frisco, TX. Become part of a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful. Position Highlights: Nurture Women's Health is an established and successful practice that has served women in the Frisco and the greater Dallas Metro area for over 20 years. Practice team consists of 4 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner along with a great support staff. This is mainly a clinic only position and does not require any call, nights, or weekends. Duties include seeing primarily obstetrics and gynecology patients, completing charting, calling back patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medications. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic women's health conditions. Counsel patients on contraception, fertility, and reproductive health options. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Patient Census in Clinic: up to 20 per day. Will perform and assist with some minimally invasive procedures that can be completed in the office, such as pap smears, endometrial biopsies, and IUD placements.
