Position Type: Part-Time Shifts Available: Evening 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm Nights 10:00pm to 6:00 am Location: 110 N 5th Ave W, Newton, IA 50208 Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities: Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff. Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care. Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response. Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures. Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software. Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary. Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications: Must have a current Iowa RN license and be in good standing. Must have CPR certification or willing to obtain Experience in Long Term Care preferred. Requirements
Active RN license in good standing.
1+ year of clinical experience preferred; new grads considered for residency tracks.
BLS required. ACLS preferred for hospital roles.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.
