Job Description
Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join our expanding Neonatology program at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center located in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a full-time opportunity to work with an established team that includes four Neonatologists and a full complement of physician assistants and APRNs. Here you will utilize the full breadth of your clinical expertise in a 28-bed, Level 3 NICU and our level I & II satellite nurseries in the region. Our team shares responsibilities to ensure there is 24/7 coverage for the NICU, hospitalist coverage for the newborn nursery, and coverage for complicated deliveries and cesarean sections. Working within Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Centeran academic affiliate hospitalyou will have ample opportunities to teach medical students from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. And, as an active training hospital, the NICU continually rotates residents from Saint Francis OB/GYN, Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine resident programs, as well as students from Capital Community College Paramedics and St. Josephs University Physician Assistant programs.
