About This Role
As a School Nurse at Amphitheater Public Schools, you'll provide direct health services to students throughout the school day, handling everything from first aid and illness assessment to managing chronic conditions and coordinating with families and healthcare providers. You'll work within the school's health program alongside the local health department, supporting students' overall development and helping remove health barriers to learning. This role suits registered nurses who are comfortable working with school-age children and can manage both routine care and more complex health needs. You'll balance independent decision-making with collaboration across school and community resources, making this ideal for someone who wants to impact student wellness in an educational setting.
