THE POSITION: Emergency Nurses treat patients in emergency situations where they’re experiencing trauma or injury. These nurses quickly recognize life-threatening problems and are trained to help solve them on the spot. They can work in hospital emergency rooms, ambulances, helicopters, urgent care centers, sports arenas, and more. Requirements
Active RN license in the assignment state (compact license preferred).
Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care experience in the specialty.
BLS required. ACLS, PALS, or specialty certs depending on unit.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.
