About This Role
This part-time position in North Landing focuses on delivering high-end clinical support within a fast-paced dermatology practice. Operating on a Tuesday through Thursday schedule with a commitment of under 30 hours per week, you will act as a vital extension of the provider during medical, surgical, and aesthetic procedures. Daily responsibilities involve managing patient flow with foresight, prepping treatment rooms, and documenting everything from biopsies and cultures to prior authorizations within the EMR system. Beyond administrative precision, you will educate patients on pre- and post-treatment protocols while maintaining strict inventory control over medical and retail supplies. This role is tailored for a seasoned Medical Assistant who brings a background in dermatology and a familiarity with laser or cosmetic workflows. Ideal candidates possess a National Certification and a high level of comfort navigating digital scheduling tools and Microsoft Office. Because this location prioritizes the total patient experience, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to anticipate a provider’s next moves are essential. In return for your expertise, this position offers a competitive hourly rate between $21 and $26, along with unique perks such as dental and vision eligibility, 401k participation, and significant discounts on premium skincare products and services.
