About This Role
Leveraging technology to deliver critical care, this telehealth position centers on providing urgent neurology consultations for emergency departments and intensive care units. Working a consistent seven-on, seven-off rotation from 7 am to 7 pm, you will manage a steady flow of one to two stat consultations per hour. Successful candidates must possess prior telehealth experience and the ability to meet a five-minute response window for acute stroke and neurological emergencies. While the primary focus remains on stroke management, familiarity with EEG interpretation is a distinct advantage for those managing complex ICU cases. This role is ideal for a specialized nurse or advanced practitioner who thrives in high-pressure environments but prefers the flexibility of remote clinical practice. You will benefit from the logistical support of a dedicated staffing agency that manages all credentialing and travel arrangements directly. Beyond the convenience of a remote setting, this position offers the financial security of weekly pay deposits and fully covered malpractice insurance, allowing you to focus entirely on patient outcomes from your home office or a central hub.
