Roles for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs in Lakewood routinely come from acute-care floors, outpatient clinics, and travel agencies hiring for ER, ICU, oncology, and travel nurse roles.

If you live in or near Lakewood, you can usually choose between a staff hospital position close to home or a travel/agency contract paying premium rates. Compensation in Illinois reflects Chicago-area academic medical centers; IL is not part of the NLC compact, and experienced RNs — especially with ICU, ER, or labor & delivery experience — see noticeably stronger offers from Lakewood-area employers.
