Overview: Location: UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital About Us: UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital is home to a dynamic and close-knit Heart and Vascular team, with two Cath Labs, Cardiac Rehab, and Cardio diagnostics where clinical excellence meets cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities: The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This is a PRN Day Shift position. Qualifications: Education Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) Licensure/Certification/Registration American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications: -FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR -FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR -Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR -Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification -any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields BLS required ACLS required
Requirements
Active RN license in good standing.
1+ year of clinical experience preferred; new grads considered for residency tracks.
BLS required. ACLS preferred for hospital roles.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.
