Job Description
HealthONE is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in Denver. As an OR RN, you will deliver safe, evidence‑based perioperative nursing care to surgical patients across a variety of specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiovascular, and emergency procedures. You will be responsible for pre‑operative assessment, intra‑operative patient advocacy, and post‑anesthesia recovery support, ensuring that each patient receives compassionate, high‑quality care consistent with HealthONE’s mission of excellence and community well‑being. In this role, you will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to plan and coordinate each procedure. You will circulate and, as appropriate based on training and policy, may scrub for cases, manage sterile fields, verify consents, perform surgical time‑outs, administer and monitor IV therapies and medications, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record. You will monitor patient status, respond rapidly to changes in condition, and follow all infection prevention and patient safety protocols, including instrument and sponge counts, equipment checks, and adherence to universal precautions. Requirements
Active RN license required.
1+ year of ER or acute-care experience.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. TNCC preferred.
