About This Role
Stationed in Honolulu, this locums assignment places a Pediatric RN or Hospitalist at the center of a Level 1 nursery and home health environment. Your daily routine follows a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, managing a patient load of 15 to 20 children and newborns. Beyond routine rounding, you will handle emergency department consults and participate in a 1:4 on-call rotation, supported by a screening service that filters inquiries before they reach you. This role is a perfect match for a pediatric specialist who possesses strong clinical judgment in neonatal care and enjoys the variety of both bedside and community-based health settings. Because this is a travel contract in Hawaii, the logistics are streamlined for you; the position includes premium hourly rates between $125 and $150, along with fully arranged housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage. If you are a seasoned nurse looking to trade a traditional hospital setting for an island-based contract that balances clinical intensity with a predictable weekday schedule, this placement offers a rare blend of professional challenge and high-end compensation.
