About This Role
Operating within the float pool at WellStar’s Lagrange facility, this PRN position offers maximum flexibility for experienced Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Technicians. You will serve as a versatile Care Partner, rotating across various hospital departments to provide essential support wherever patient volume is highest. Your daily routine involves a mix of clinical and bedside tasks, including assisting with nutrition, hygiene, and mobility, while carefully documenting patient progress within the EMR. Because this role demands quick adaptation to different unit cultures and patient populations, it is an ideal fit for an adaptable CNA who possesses at least one year of acute care experience and a current BLS certification. You will act as the primary liaison between the clinical staff and the families you serve, ensuring safety protocols and treatment plans are followed precisely. This role is perfect for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and prefers a non-routine schedule. By joining the float pool, you gain broad exposure to diverse medical specialties within one of Georgia’s most integrated health systems, allowing you to sharpen your skills across multiple disciplines while maintaining control over your work-life balance through per-diem shifts.
