About This Role
This locum tenens opportunity in LaGrange, Georgia, focuses on inpatient urology coverage within a 276-bed, Level 4 trauma center. Tasked with managing a daily volume of 3 to 12 adult patients, you will handle general urological procedures and an average of three admissions per shift. The schedule requires weekend call coverage twice monthly, beginning Friday morning and concluding Monday morning, though slightly modified hours are available for clinicians with scheduling constraints. Utilizing Epic for all documentation, you will primarily treat adults, with only rare pediatric emergencies like torsions required. This role is ideal for a Board Certified Urology practitioner or an experienced Advanced Practice Provider who values autonomy and prefers a consistent, part-time supplemental schedule. Because the facility is open to professionals with an IMLC license in hand, it represents a streamlined option for those licensed outside of Georgia. Beyond the clinical work, you benefit from full malpractice coverage and comprehensive assistance with both credentialing and travel logistics, ensuring a smooth transition into this ongoing regional support role.
