Job Description

A well-established Anesthesia Practice in the Upstate New York Region (Binghamton area) is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our busy and growing practice which today, consists of 10 Physicians and 22 CRNAs. We provide coverage at two local hospitals that are minutes away from each other by car– United Health Services Hospitals Wilson Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center, (280 beds) and Binghamton General Hospital (220 beds), with opportunities for extra shifts at United Health Services Hospitals Chenango Memorial Hospital. Starting salary is $265,000 with incentive to $285,000. $50,000 signing bonus and moving expenses. NO Call and a Monday through Friday schedule. Excellent full Health Insurance with HSA contribution, life dental, disability and malpractice. Continuing Medical Education credit of $1500/year. Six weeks paid vacation plus family leave bank. 100% medical direction and work a Monday through Friday schedule. You will average 2 to 5 cases per day that may consist of neuro, orthopedics, vascular, podiatry, plastics and general surgery. Pediatrics and cardiology are generally covered by the Anesthesiologist. CRNA teaching opportunities available. Must be licensed in New York State. Driving distance (between 2-5 hours) to New York City, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston, CT/NY/DE/MD beaches, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Excellent restaurants, Finger Lakes Wine Trail, private and public universities, hunting/fishing. Largest shopping mall in the northeast (Destiny USA) 1 hour drive. Formed in 1981 through the consolidation of three community hospitals, United Health Services Hospitals employs more than 6,000 people.
