About This Role
This locum tenens urology role involves managing inpatient care and weekend call coverage within a 276-bed, Level 4 trauma center in LaGrange. Based in a hospital setting, you will oversee a manageable patient volume of three to twelve adults per day, focusing on general urological procedures and rounding through the Epic EMR system. The schedule requires two weekends of coverage per month, running from Friday morning through Monday morning, though flexibility exists for providers needing a slightly later start on Friday evenings. While the census is primarily adult-based, the ability to handle rare pediatric torsions is necessary. This position is ideal for a Board Certified Urologist with an active Georgia DEA and IMLC credentials who prefers a consistent, part-time travel cadence. Beyond the professional autonomy of a contract role, you will benefit from full malpractice coverage and comprehensive assistance with both credentialing and travel logistics, ensuring a smooth transition into the Georgia healthcare landscape.
