About This Role

You'll work in Brown Medicine's intensive care unit in La Cañada Flintridge, delivering direct bedside care to critically ill patients. Your days involve assessing patient conditions, executing treatment plans developed with your care team, and monitoring vital signs and medical equipment closely. You'll collaborate with doctors, respiratory therapists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care and contribute to both clinical outcomes and unit operations. SUMMARY: The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care based on the nursing process within assigned work periods.

They function as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care.
