Job Description

Full Time | Bergen County, NJ | 10 minutes from NYC Englewood Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN provider to practice the full scope of obstetrics & gynecology in a collaborative, patient-centered Women’s Healthcare practice in Englewood, New Jersey. You will practice the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology with access to modern L&D suites, advanced minimally invasive surgery capabilities, and a supportive team of physicians, nurses, and perinatal support staff.   • As an Outpatient OB/GYN, you will provide comprehensive ambulatory women’s healthcare in a busy, team-oriented clinical practice.
  • Mix of outpatient/inpatient responsibilities, including major and minor surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, ER consults, and monitoring pregnant patients on the L&D unit.

Each provider covers one weekday call shift 7am-7am with rotational weekends.

  • Delivering well-woman preventive care, including routine GYN exams, Pap smears, breast exams, and other screenings.
  • Conducting prenatal and postpartum visits.
  • Managing gynecologic problem visits, such as abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, infections, menopause symptoms, and fertility concerns.
  • Performing office-based procedures such as IUD, insertions/removals, endometrial biopsies, colposcopy, and other minor GYN procedures. · Reviewing and interpreting laboratory results, imaging, and pathology reports to guide patient care.
  • Providing contraception counseling, family planning support, and preconception guidance.
  • Communicating with patients through the patient portal (MyChart), addressing follow-up questions, medication needs, and care coordination.
  • Completing timely documentation within the electronic medical record (Epic), including visit notes, orders, and patient instructions. Qualifications
  • MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency
  • NJ Medical License
  • Board Certified (ABOG) or Board Eligible (must become BC within a five (5) year timeline per Medical Staff bylaws)
  • DEA and NJ CDS registration
