Job Description

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a compassionate Travel Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing high-quality care across our senior living and long-term healthcare communities. As a Travel RN with Trilogy, you will bring your clinical expertise and passion for service to multiple sites, supporting residents whose care is tailored to their individual needs. You will play a vital role in promoting safety, dignity, and comfort for older adults while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment that values professional growth and continuous learning. In this role, you will deliver hands-on nursing care including comprehensive assessments, medication and IV administration, wound care, and close monitoring of changes in resident condition. You will use your clinical judgment to prioritize care, respond promptly to health status changes, and communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. You will document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies. The Travel Registered Nurse will help develop, implement, and update individualized care plans focused on maximizing each resident’s quality of life. You will provide instruction and support to residents and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and ongoing health management, fostering understanding and engagement in the care process. In addition, you will supervise and mentor nursing assistants and other support staff, reinforcing best practices in infection prevention, fall reduction, resident comfort, and customer service. Because this is a travel role, you will work on-site at various Trilogy Health Services communities, adapting quickly to new teams and environments while maintaining consistent, high-quality standards of care. Trilogy offers a positive, compassionate workplace where teamwork is central and employee development is a priority. You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience across different settings within senior living and long-term care, while benefiting from competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that supports your well-being and long-term career growth. Trilogy Health Services is committed to nurturing your professional development as you care for our residents. If you are a Registered Nurse who thrives in a dynamic setting, enjoys building relationships with residents and staff, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centered care, we invite you to consider this Travel RN opportunity.

Frequently asked questions

  • How long is a typical travel nurse contract?

Most travel nurse contracts run 8–13 weeks, with the option to extend or take a new assignment after each contract. Some crisis or rapid-response contracts are as short as 4 weeks.

  • Is housing provided or is there a stipend?

Most travel agencies offer a tax-free housing stipend rather than agency-arranged housing. Stipends vary by city and assignment, typically $1,000–$2,500 per month on top of weekly taxable pay.

  • Do I need a compact nursing license?

A multistate (compact) license lets you work in any NLC member state without applying for a separate license. For non-compact states (e.g., California, New York) you'll need a state-specific RN license before starting.
