About This Role
This position offers a unique chance for a Board Certified or Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to impact the health outcomes of Phoenix’s underserved youth. Operating within a high-volume Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center, you will manage a diverse caseload across the PICU, NICU, and pediatric emergency departments, while also maintaining a presence in the adjacent Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) clinics. Your day-to-day work balances complex endoscopic procedures with outpatient consultations, requiring a clinician who is equally comfortable in the surgical suite as they are in a primary care setting. Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as a core faculty member, mentoring residents through local medical school affiliations. Whether you are a seasoned specialist or a fellow finishing training, this role suits those who value teaching and community-based medicine. The non-profit structure provides a stable framework for practitioners requiring J-1 or H1B visa sponsorship. In addition to a competitive salary, the package includes comprehensive malpractice coverage with tail insurance and a dedicated CME allowance to support your ongoing professional development in the field of pediatric GI care.
