Schedule: Full Time; 12 hour shifts Practice Detail: High volume OB/Gyn Hospitalist program with coverage of L&D, OB/Gyn ED and Gyn surgery providing care to a diverse patient population. How you’ll make an impact in this role Ascension Saint Thomas is looking for a Board Certified/Board OB/Gyn to join our Hospitalist team. Position Highlights: Shifts are a mix of OB providing coverage on L&D/HROB/PP and Gyn providing care in the OBGyn ED and for unassigned Gyn inpatients/emergency surgeries Supervises Residents and works with NPs and CNMs Great working relationships with faculty, community physicians and emergency room providers OB and GYN privileges are required Opportunity to care for a diverse patient population Supportive administration and excellent practice management NO CALL – ever Hospitalist-only role (no clinic responsibilities) Predictable, advanced scheduling Supportive, team-based environment with experienced nursing and anesthesia support Manage labor & delivery, obstetric emergencies, and GYN ED Opportunity to work alongside community OBs and midwives Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package About Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown The hospital is one of the largest in the state with 683 licensed acute and rehab care beds and covers nearly 2 million square feet and spans more than six city blocks.
