Job Description
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse to support our client facilities within the Healthcare & Medical Services industry.
As an ICU RN, you will provide comprehensive, critical care to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions, using evidence-based practice to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care.
Working closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and the broader interdisciplinary team, you will perform continuous patient assessment, administer medications and therapies, manage advanced life-support equipment, and respond rapidly to changes in patient status.
Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans; performing and interpreting diagnostic tests within the nursing scope; titrating critical drips; managing ventilators and other specialized ICU equipment; and accurately documenting all care in electronic medical records.
You will educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-ICU care, providing emotional support during highly stressful situations.

You will participate in ongoing skills training, simulation drills, and competency validation, ensuring that your practice reflects the latest critical care guidelines.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes, engage in quality improvement initiatives, and support a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.

Requirements
Active RN license required.
1–2+ years of ICU/critical care experience.
BLS and ACLS required. CCRN preferred.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.
