Position Summary Posting Note: Phoenix Children's is hiring a Nurse Scientist to advance nursing research and innovation within our organization. This role will mentor clinicians in research and scholarly work, support study design and dissemination, and contribute to building a robust nursing research infrastructure. Position Duties Nursing Research & Scientific Expertise
- Provides scientific leadership and expertise in nursing research methodology, study design, and analysis.
- Serves as a subject-matter expert for quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research.
- Advises nursing leaders and teams on appropriate research approaches aligned with clinical questions and organizational priorities.

- Mentors nurses and interprofessional team members in research design, literature appraisal, data analysis and interpretation, and scholarly writing and presentation.
- Supports development of nurse investigators across career stages.
- Provides consultation to shared governance councils, EBP teams, and clinical leaders on research-related questions.

- Leads and supports dissemination of nursing research findings through peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, posters, and podium presentations, and internal and external forums.
- Supports translation of research findings into clinical practice in collaboration with operational leaders.
