Shift: Rotating Start date: June 8, 2026 Setting: hospital-based emergency department Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the emergency department as part of an interdisciplinary team. Monitor patient condition, perform initial assessments, and reassess as needed; respond rapidly to changes in status. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols; document administration accurately in the medical record. Assist with procedures, support diagnostic testing, and prepare equipment and supplies for ED procedures. Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and ER techs to ensure patient safety, comfort, and timely care; maintain sterile technique and infection control standards. Support triage, patient transport, and discharge planning as part of the ED team; communicate effectively with patients and families. Requirements Certification: Certified ER Tech required. Shift flexibility: Ability to work rotating shifts and consecutive weekends as needed. Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
