Job Description

Angel Medical Center, part of Mission Health, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team.

In this role, you will provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care to individuals across the lifespan in a full-service critical access hospital setting serving Macon County and surrounding communities.

Working in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and support staff, you will be responsible for comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans for patients in a fast-paced environment that may include emergency care, medical-surgical, post-operative, and rehabilitation needs.

The RN will administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, monitor patient responses, recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status, and escalate concerns when necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

You will provide clear, compassionate patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, medications, and self-care, supporting informed decision-making and smooth transitions of care.

The Registered Nurse will adhere to all regulatory, infection prevention, and patient safety standards while maintaining thorough and timely documentation in the electronic health record.

You will collaborate actively in interdisciplinary rounds, contribute to discharge planning, and support quality improvement initiatives that align with Mission Health’s culture of compassion, respect, and innovation.
