This full-time outpatient role in Parkfield focuses on delivering specialized care to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey. Working eight-hour day shifts, you will manage complex medication regimens, including the administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy agents, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and clinical excellence. Requirements

Job Description: Position Summary Under the leadership of the department director, assistant director, nursing supervisor, and/or charge nurse, the registered nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for planning directing, assessing and providing nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department.
Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad nursing knowledge.
The registered nurse is an experienced nurse who shall orient new staff, precept students, and assume relief charge nurse duty as oriented and assigned.
Experience One year of Oncology experience with experience in administering chemotherapy treatments is preferred.
Education Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Must pass orientation and initial competency assessment prior to independent assignment of patients requiring the applicable skill, and must complete and pass all annual competencies.
Licensure/Certifications State of California RN license required.
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required.
PALS certification must be obtained prior to completion of orientation and independent assignment for those hired/transferred into Outpatient Oncology position on or after September 1, 2026.
Existing employees must obtain PALS certification by September 1, 2026.
OCN certification highly preferred.
Must complete the ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certificate (provider card) within 90-days of hire.
