Job Description
Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled OR RN (Registered Nurse) in Cleveland, OH to join our network of dedicated healthcare professionals serving leading hospitals and medical centers.
In this role, you will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients, working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the broader surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures.
As an OR RN with Capstone, you will prepare patients for surgery through thorough assessments, verification of medical histories, and confirmation of informed consent, ensuring all required documentation, labs, and diagnostics are complete and accurate.
You will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, conducting surgical counts, managing equipment and instruments, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team throughout the procedure.
Intraoperatively, you will circulate and/or scrub as assigned, monitor patient status, support anesthesia care, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, using sound clinical judgment and established protocols.
Postoperatively, you will coordinate handoffs to PACU or appropriate recovery areas, provide detailed reports, and reinforce patient and family education related to postoperative care, pain control, mobility, and follow-up instructions.
This position requires strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication, and meticulous attention to safety and infection control standards, including adherence to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based best practices.
You will document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.

Requirements
Active RN license in good standing.
1+ year of clinical experience preferred; new grads considered for residency tracks.
BLS required. ACLS preferred for hospital roles.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.
