The role of the Hospice Aide is to assist terminally-ill patients with their personal care needs, including: personal hygiene care such as bathing/showering, incontinence care, dressing, skin/nail/oral care; assisting with ambulation, transfers, and repositioning; obtaining vital signs; light housekeeping; and other related support services essential to the client’s health and well-being. The goal is to assist each patient in achieving the highest level of comfort and quality of life, consistent with their health status, wherever the patient lives. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position. - Listed on MN nursing assistant registry with current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA). 1-year experience as a home health aide or nursing assistant. Current valid MN Driver’s License and daily access to reliable, insured vehicle.
