Job Description

Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN (Registered Nurse) to provide exceptional perioperative care at a partner hospital in Cleveland, OH.

As an OR RN, you will play a critical role in supporting patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, working within a collaborative surgical team that includes surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.

You will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, verifying patient identity and surgical site, ensuring proper equipment and supplies are available and functioning, and maintaining strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards.

During procedures, you will circulate and/or scrub as assigned, monitor the patient’s status, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, administer medications within scope, and document all aspects of care accurately in the electronic medical record.

You will provide patient and family education related to surgery and recovery, advocate for patient safety and comfort, and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the perioperative department.
