About This Role
This part-time position places a Licensed Practical Nurse at the heart of correctional healthcare within the Halifax County Jail. Working two 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, you will manage a variety of clinical tasks ranging from medication administration and wound care to emergency response and routine health screenings. The setting requires a nurse who is confident in their clinical judgment, enjoys an autonomous environment, and can navigate the unique challenges of a secure facility with professionalism. It is an ideal fit for an LPN seeking to supplement their income or balance other commitments while maintaining a consistent weekly schedule. Beyond the stability of a fixed weekend or weekday rotation, the role offers a modern financial perk: access to your earned wages on demand through DailyPay. If you are a pragmatic caregiver who thrives in high-responsibility environments and values a streamlined work-life balance, this role provides the chance to deliver essential medical services to an underserved population without the exhaustion of a full-time hospital rotation.
