About This Role
This full-time position involves nursing assessments and intake procedures during the night shift at Vista del Mar Hospital. You'll evaluate incoming patients, document findings in electronic health records, and coordinate care with clinical teams and referring facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing medication authorizations, handling patient belongings, and facilitating handoffs between nursing staff. The role requires comfort with rotating weekend schedules and the ability to work independently while collaborating across departments. You'll need a current RN or LPT license, solid experience with EMR/EHR systems, and a background in patient assessment. This is ideal for a nurse who works well during evening hours and values direct patient intake responsibilities.

Requirements
Active RN license in good standing.
1+ year of clinical experience preferred; new grads considered for residency tracks.
BLS required. ACLS preferred for hospital roles.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.
