About This Role
This locum position places you in a trauma and acute care setting where you'll work alongside surgeons handling urgent surgical cases. Your days involve assisting with trauma evaluations following ATLS protocols, managing acute care surgery consultations in the ED and inpatient units, and serving as first assistant in the OR for trauma and acute care procedures. The role offers flexible scheduling with available shifts in late July and August, alternating between night and day shifts so you can plan accordingly. This position suits experienced NPs with trauma or acute care backgrounds who are comfortable in fast-paced surgical environments and have OR experience, ideally with RNFA certification or willingness to obtain it.
