Job Description
Cardiac Specialists, () a single-specialty cardiovascular disease practice based in Fairfield County, CT, is seeking a full-time Board-Certified or Board-Eligible non-invasive cardiologist to begin practice in July, 2027. Please join our 22 well-trained cardiologists (15 non-invasive, 4 interventional, and 3 EP) and 6 nurse practitioners in a full-service practice setting offering excellent hospital and office volume as well as a full range of diagnostic services, including on-site echocardiography, stress echo, nuclear and vascular laboratories. Proficiency and board eligibility or board certification in echocardiography (including stress echo), transesophageal echocardiograms, and nuclear cardiology are required. An interest or expertise in advanced imaging (CTA and cardiac MRI), structural echocardiography, heart failure, cardio-oncology, and vascular imaging are not necessary, but a plus. We are unable to sponsor visas. We are a successful and well-established practice, with over 40 years of providing excellent cardiac care to the area. Our practice is affiliated with Northeast Medical Group, part of the Yale-New Haven Health System, and teaching and research opportunities are available. Nearly all of our physicians are recognized by Connecticut Magazine as some of the best cardiologists in the state. Our practice emphasizes excellent and cutting-edge cardiovascular care for our patients (including cardiac MRI, PYP scanning, Watchman, vascular and peripheral interventions, MitraClip and TAVR) and a good quality of life for our doctors.
